tv   Justice With Judge Jeanine  FOX News  November 17, 2019 12:00am-1:00am PST

12:00 am
"justice with judge jeanine" is next. remember i'm watters and this is my world. [♪] judge jeanine: breaking tonight. new testimony released in the trump impeachment inquiry while more public hearings are scheduled for next week. welcome to justice. i'm judge jeanine pirro. and we did it again. last weekend justice beat the competition all weekend long and i have you to thank for it. the white house press secretary steffey griffin joins me later. first up, my open. imagine a group of people hate
12:01 am
someone so much they agree to destroy him. they tried before but the truth won out. they decide to find someone who also despises him to make another come flienlt try again. that person agrees and with their help files a complaint and a new attempt to destroy him begins. they predict this time he is going down. first the accusation. it's not clear what it is, and he's not allowed to be present where it is decided wait will be. he's not allowed to have an attorney. he's not allowed to present witnesses. soon after they public size they publicize they are moving forward, the accuser is hidden away because to out him would give away the fraud that is at
12:02 am
the heart of their charge. they say they will prove he did sock wrong. that they know he did something wrong, and so they bring in witnesses. ostensibly to prove this. but they actually no nothing. they like the accuser heard something from $on -- from somee who heard something. in this shah rai -- in this cha, hearsay is aloud. and it's considered better than direct evidence. they can signal their witness not to answer a question that might i will illuminat -- that e the truth for him. he presents evidence of his compliant with the law that
12:03 am
refutes every one of their accusations. but they don't care. the truth is irrelevant. they want him destroyed. they even tell him he has to prove his innocence because he's part of a shakedown. and so far he hasn't proven that he's not. they tell him his proving his innocence is what the charade is all about. he's frustrated. he has nowhere to turn. now imagine it's you that they are after. ing this week we witnessed nothing short of the most offensive, shock and shameless shows ever displayed in the congress of the united states. the hatred of president trump was palpable. and the refusal to recognize time-honored principles, and traditions. there were no rules other than the rules of a proven liar.
12:04 am
the burden of proof has no place in this charade in has never been a case in the history of this great nation where the accused is supposed to prove his innocence when the prosecution can't even prove his guilt. >> if the president has something that's exculpatory, anything that shows you are innocent, he should make that known at the start of the inquiry. so far we haven't seen that. we welcome it. that's what an inquiry is all about. judge jeanine: they can't even figure out what th the man did. they are hypocrites. >> if and when the time comes for impeachment, it will have to be something that has such a crescendo in a bipartisan way. judge jeanine: the only
12:05 am
bipartisan thing here is two democrats sided with the republicans against this so-called inquiry or inquisition, whatever it is. the rules of evidence, due process and fairness have no place in their star chamber. >> i think the american public needs to be reminded that congress people have been convicted on hearsay because the courts routinely aloud need exceptions to hearsay. hearsay can be much better evidence than direct as we have flernd painful instances and it's certainly valid in this incident. judge jeanine: hearsay without more is proof beyond a reasonable doubt? countless people? you have got to be kidding me. but in quigley's world this is the kind of thing that will convict people. >> ambassador tail poured told
12:06 am
on september 12019 in connection with vice president pence's meeting in warsaw and the meeting with president zelensky. you have four people having six conversations in one sentence and you are telling me this is where you got your understanding. judge jeanine: as for miss yovanovich, there were sources who felt you weren't loyal to the president. newsflash. the president has that right. they are so stupid that every time a crime doesn't fit, they move to another one. their schizophrenic effort to identify a crime, any time, is akin to a 5-year-old trying to settle on one toy in a giant toy store. taylor told us the territorial credit of ukraine is essential to our interests because ukraine
12:07 am
is a strategic partner of the united states. wait. when did that happen? these guys work for obama? they are the same ones who sat and watched russia invade crimea in sue crane? all the while the missile system is taken down leaving sue crane a sitting duck. the bozo in the bow tie is telling us what america's strategy should be coming from the obama administration? are you kidding? who are you? or better yet who do you think you are? there is only one person who sets foreign policy and it ain't you. it's the commander-in-chief for whom you work. and none of you whackos have figured out why you are there. >> so in this impeachment hearing today where we impeach presidents for treason or
12:08 am
bribery or other high crimes. where is the impeachable offense in that call. are either of you here today to assert there was an impeachable offense that call? shout it out. anyone? judge jeanine: a primer, a president is not required to give funds to a corrupt foreign government. he has a right to make sure the money is spent wisely. now they are thinking bribery. except bribery requires criminal intent. the election which apparently started? ukraine and led to the russia collusion collusion is an obligation we have to make sure never happens to america again. but the deep state is dug in to make sure americans never get the truth. the president just yesterday submitted the transcript of the first call between the
12:09 am
presidents of the united states and ukraine where president trump expressed a commitment to quote root out corruption along with the new president of ukraine. but i imagine that that truth won't matter to the mob who simply wants to take him down. that's my open. let me know what you think on my facebook and twitter, #judgejeanine. get a copy of my book, "radicals, resistance, and revenge." here is reaction to my open, white house press secretary stephanie grisham. i want to begin with marie yovanovich's testimony. the president tweeted during the hearings about what he called
12:10 am
her poor performance as ambassador. and the democrats are talking about new articles of impeachment for witness intimidation. what's the white house take on that? >> i would say what adam schiff did to congresswoman stefanik can be intimidation. what a cable network did to one of our senior advisors, kellyanne conway, could be intimidation. the president was expressing why he didn't have faith in yovanovich. he deserves to have people he believes in. he was going around the dems on his twitter which made them angry. we started with the word quid pro quo, now we moved to bribery, now intimidation. i realize the dems are polling which wowrds hit us the hardest.
12:11 am
judge jeanine: today there was testimony released involving two individuals that say that it could be very damaging to the president, taylor -- not taylor, i believe the individuals williams and morrison. have you heard about that? >> i have. i think this is just another example of how adam schiff and company are moving the goal post and changing the rules. this week everything was public. today was once again behind closed doors. everything coming out are selective leaks. so the rules keep changing. this is why the president keeps going to twitter and going around them. we have no rights in this whole sham and it's really horrible. judge jeanine: it's got to be
12:12 am
frustrating. just imagine you are in a situation where you have no due process, no lawyer, no right to confront your accuser and no right to ask questions. it's amazing this guy schiff comes out and stops people like yovanovich. but i want to talk about bill barr, the attorney general. >> what it means is instead of viewing themselves as the loyal opposition, as opposing parties have common this country for over 200 years, they essentially see themselves as engaged in a war to cripple by any means necessary a duly elected government. judge jeanine: what you have got is the attorney general in a very unusual speech before the federalist society last night talking about what we are seeing, which is basically a mob
12:13 am
making new rules, just mike maxine waters said in the beginning and congressman al green said in the beginning. this is such a dangerous precedent. if the american people elect someone they can get this mob in congress, if they have the majority they can say let's just impeach him. >> absolutely. this has been going on before the president-elected and once he took office. "the washington post" had an article in january 2017 right after the president took office talking about the dems and how they were planning a resistance like no other president would ever see. maxine waters not only called for a resistance, she encouraged her supporters to go after anybody in the trump administration. election night, i was with the press, and i did see media with tears in their eyes because they
12:14 am
were so upset over this president getting elected. we have gone through the russia hoax. this shouldn't happen to any president, i don't care what party you are in. judge jeanine: russia, racism, the resistance. didn't the economy yesterday hit a high it has never hit before, the stock market? >> friday it hit an all-time high. the president's economic -- his economic rules are work. all of his policies are working. it's just that we are not getting any coverage because the media doesn't want people to see his success. judge jeanine: the hatred is just amazing. i have never seen anything like this. i want to talk to you about what a lot of people are talking about on social media, the president's visit to walter reed. i understand it wasn't a
12:15 am
scheduled annual visit. can you tell us what it was? >> we have a really busy year ahead, so the president decided to go to walter reed and get a head start with some routine checkups as part of his annual exam. that's all it was. we had a down day today so he made the decision to head there. judge jeanine: there is no truth to the rumors it was something else? the rumors are flying. >> the rumors are always flying. he's healthy as can be. i put a statement out about that. he has no energy than anybody in the white house. that man works from 6:00 a.m. until very, very late at night. he's doing just fine. judge jeanine: he's almost superhuman. i don't know how anyone can deal with what he's dealing with. i get frustrated with what's going on in washington. i want to throw things at the television.
12:16 am
but i don't. thanks for being with us. >> thank you. judge jeanine: a developing story in louisiana. republican businessman eddie rirks spone is make serious challenge to governor edward. president trump is urging louisiana voters to vote for him. we are keeping an eye on the vote count. if a winner is called in this hour, you will get the results from us. charlie kirk and governor mike shuck beup next. three strikes and you are out. house minority leader kevin mccarthy tells me what the crazy democrats could learn from
12:17 am
12:18 am
12:19 am
12:20 am
[♪] judge jeanine: democrats' hypocrisy on full display at ringleader adam schiff began the impeachment hearing. i spoke to kevin mccarthy about those hearings and what's still to come. good to have you here. i have to tell you it's been quite a week. i have never seen anything play out in congress like i have seen this week. there are no rules. no due process. first it was a star chamber. i almost felt more comfortable with it was behind closed doors. what say you? >> they have done three witnesses. in baseball three strikes you are out. i think adam schiff is out. he auditions the witnesses in
12:21 am
the basement. he picked the best. have you ever immediate the president, the chief of staff, the phone call? and he said you are their star witness? taylor just smiled, almost agreeing. how bad is this? judge jeanine: the president, as a lawyer and a judge, i spent my years in the courtroom. i can't imagine schiff would get up, defend his witness from cross-examination by the minority and tell him you don't have to answer that, you don't have to agree with the facts. when ratcliffe says' can you tell us what the rules are. >> this is a star chamber. adam schiff is a fact witness for having met with the whistleblower. he's the judge, the jury, and he
12:22 am
controls all the time. even duly elected members sitting on this committee do not have the ability to ask questions until the adam schiff show is over. then he hand it over to devin. not a staffer. and you can't yield your time to anybody else. judge jeanine: he says he never met the whistleblower. >> remember when he told us he had proof beyond circumstantial evidence? now we found out that wasn't true. what about when he didn't tell us he met with glenn simpson. or cohen. or when he said he didn't know who the whistleblower was. are you going to tell me the whistleblower goes to his staff were the whistleblower ever has an attorney or goes to the inspector general that he didn't know? i think he has lied to us enough
12:23 am
that we know he's lying now. judge jeanine: the president releases the first foreign call he has with the president of ukraine, zelensky. you know what i loved about it? president zelensky was so happy president trump was calling him. he said i think i should win more often so you can call me more often. zelensky says to trump we want to drain the swamp in our country. president trump says we want to root out corruption. they didn't know this transcript was going to be released or that it would go before the american people. this is as proper than anything i have seen and the lies they are spreading on the other side. >> the entire world knows what the kofertions entail.
12:24 am
if you watch the hearing. devin nunes read that transcript of the first call. devin can read the actual words. when adam schiff had the transcript, what did he do? he was so compelling that the speaker of the house nancy pelosi believed those lies on tv with george stephanopoulos. there was no pressure. they agreed to meet with no quid pro quo. why does this charade continue on? the on reason the democrats got elected was to impeach this president. nadler ran for chairman based on he would be good at impeachment. they are so afraid of facing this president at the ballot box they are going to frame him. every day they make up a new word. first it was quid pro quo, then
12:25 am
it's eggthenit's -- it's extortn it's climate change with aoc. judge jeanine: the american people in the end will say wait a minute. everything is good in my pocketbook. we are safe and secure. the democrats haven't done a darn thing but hate his man for four years. this is going nowhere. the senate is not going to impeach him. if this is the best they have got they ought to fold up their tents and go home. >> we are less than a year away from the election and they don't entrust the voters. this is about the election. when al green first submitted impeachment, they were afraid if they didn't impeach him, he would get' re-elected.
12:26 am
we'll break for thanksgiving, they will move it to judiciary and vote on impeachment before the end of the year. they have written the script, she they had the audition, they are trying to find the crime and they can't do it. regardless of how you feel, this is exactly what alexander hamilton warned us about that impeachment would be taken ahold of by one party for political gain. not because you believe in the rule of law, but you believe in the party. nancy pelosi said earlier this year that we should not do impeachment because it's so divisive it had to be 0 overwhelming, compelling and bipartisan. the only bipartisan vote in congress was to stop the impeachment. judge jeanine: congressman kevin mccarthy, thank you for
12:27 am
joining us tonight. tom fitton from judicial watch is next. governor huckabee brings his take on the democrats "justice." .
12:28 am
12:29 am
12:30 am
12:31 am
. judge jeanine: pick a crime, any crime. the democrats moved on to bribery as their latest act president trump committed. that warrants him being impeached. the whole quid pro quo thing didn't work out. then it was extortion. the country didn't buy that either so now the president and his administration was out to bribe the ukrainian president. you have heard me ask a million times so i will let these folks ask it tonight.
12:32 am
>> it's just plain stupid. >> are you stupid or something? judge jeanine: there is no other way to describe this nonsense. joining me to talk about it all. governor mike huckabee. are they stupid? >> anybody in america who thinks this is anything but a political game for the democrats, i wanted to say, are you talking to me? i didn't do that. judge jeanine: quigley says hearsay evidence is stronger than direct evidence. what planet are you from? nancy pelosi says you have to prove your innocence. but this is turning the justice system and the constitution
12:33 am
upside down. how dare they? >> i have to believe there are a lot of democrats and independent across the country who are smarter than the democrats in washington must think they are. most people can look at this and on the surface they realizing this is like a marvin gaye song, i heard it through the grapevine. no one has firsthand information. the people who do who read the transcript or were on the call admit there was nothing wrong with president trump's phone call. and there was nothing wrong with him firing ambassadors. everybody forgets barack obama a month and a half before he became president. in 2008 he sent a letter. every single ambassador you are out of office.
12:34 am
nobody said a people, nor did i. i am a republican. why didn't i come labor or fuss? because he has every right to do that. judge jeanine: to the victor belongs the spoils. we have taylor and kent. at the end of the day they don't know nothing about nothing. they never met the president, never talked to the president. never in a room where the president was talking. nada, zip. they don't know why they are there or what the president could be impeached for. then you go to yovanovich. i don't even want to talk about her. she was gone two months before this conversation with the president of the ukraine. the president of the ukraine says there was no pressure. so it was a bad week for the dems this week. but you know what i fear,
12:35 am
because they are so determined, they will find somebody somewhere will come in and lie and they will protect him like they are protecting this whistleblower. >> you had a couple people, stephanie grisham and congressman mccarthy, this is a long litany of the excuse of the week for impeachment. when they can't find it works, it's like a fisherman out in his boat. he throws a lure. he catches nothing. he keeps throwing different lures hoping a fish will bite. these folks are going back to the shore with an empty boat. no fish. and they don't seem to get. they are fishing in the dead sea. there is nothing there. all they have is innuendo. but the firsthand witnesses can't lay anything on this president despite the desperate attempts by people on the other networks to say that they can.
12:36 am
they just can't do it. >> this whole idea they are talking about, bribery, he's bribing him. i have done many opens. but it's really clear that the united states has the right to attach conditions. but we have the best evidence of the conversation in were no conditions. then we get the first conversation. the president is talking about rooting out corruption. our president. the president of ukraine is saying we want to do what you are doing, we want to drain the swamp. we are so happy to talk to you. ukraine is known for corruption. the oligarchs, the prosecutors. and we have one guy over there with the quid pro quo joe biden. why is no one look at this. >> we now know the democrats did a focus group test. the reason they are using the word bribery is it's the most effective word they have been able to find.
12:37 am
it's a political poll-tested allegation. it has nothing to do with reality or the facts. for it to be bribery, the president would have to be given something of value not for the country, but for himself. you know what's so stupid about that to go to your point of are you stupid? here is the question. if joe biden ended up being the democrat nominee, that would be the best gift the president could have. this idea the president is going to get something from it. i don't think he's going to keep joe biden from being the democratic nominee. if anything they need to say he's trying to get bind to be the nominee. judge jeanine: the whole idea is if he's trying to get to the bottom of the 2016 meddling in the campaign and schiff says something of value is what the president wants, he wants him to
12:38 am
go after joe biden. who knows how that will end up anyway? if he didn't, that's what's so crazy. it's almost as though we are speaking different languages. >> indeed we are. that's just enough to tell you this does need to go back to the 2016 elections. but let me give you a prediction. the president will win in a landslide a year from now because of this nonsense. judge jeanine: honestly, governor, to me it wouldn't matter what party. whatever party decided to take down a duly elected president and commander-in-chief and did this to him for four years. this is the fourth year of their attempt to impeach him. then whoever it is deserves a reelection, a landslide. charlie kirk is on deck. but first, hateful, bitter word from the former cia director to
12:39 am
the sitting president of the united states, if you can believe it. i'll talk about that and more with tom fitton from judicial watch.
12:40 am
12:41 am
12:42 am
>> you need information regarding the president of the united states accepting any bribes? >> no. >> do you have any information regarding any criminal activity that the president of the united states has been involved with at all? >> no. >> so in this impeachment hearing today where we impeach presidents for tree soon or bribery or other high crimes, where is the impeachable offense in that call?
12:43 am
are either of you here today to assert there is an impeachable offense in that call? shout it out. anyone? judge jeanine: the sound of silence. they all admitted to having no firsthand knowledge of anything the president is being accused of. judicial watch president tom fitton joins us now with more. good evening, tom. i have got to tell you. you listen to that sound. all last week amounted to a hill of nothing. not even a hill of beans. a hill of nothing. yovanovich was brought there so people can say she is such a nice lady, the president let her go. get over it, grow up. she is a nice lady, but every president gets to pick their own ambassadors. i'm not going to play the sound we heard all week. but they don't know anything
12:44 am
about anything. let's talk about where we are in this craziness. >> you have a bunch of bureaucrats complaining about the boss' policies and that's no ground for impeachment. elevating water cooler talk. despite the abuse of the hearings. despite them cheating and denying the president his god given right to confront his accuser. what did we hear this week? more evidence there were concerns in the obama state department about what joe biden and his son were up to in ukraine. the coup in some ways may be failing because it's developing evidence showing president trump did nothing wrong while raising additional questions about joe biden. judge jeanine: the truth is we learned this in the russian
12:45 am
collusion delusion. they tried to frame him and all the evidence was against them and comey and fisa. do you know when this report is coming out? >> i don't. you know, it's no surprise the deep state is slow rolling this to goth not get in the way of the coup cabals. let me just say about this foreign service we are all supposed to fall down every time we hear it. this is the same foreign service that did nothing after obama and clinton recklessly put those people in benghazi and lied about their murders. they have been defending hillary and covering up her email scandal, they are still protecting her now. they are stonewalling our requests for information on joe biden. the career foreign service
12:46 am
equals deep state. judge jeanine: you unlike congress are getting these documents and emails by order of the court. so you obviously know what's going on. >> lawyers have been questioning foreign service officers and career officials at the state department, and you would think nothing happened during the hillary clinton' term in terms of her email. uninterested, full of excuses about ukraine's interference. the idea that she was neutral. no one is buying that. judge jeanine: the reports are she had a no prosecution list. the fact is when she -- i'll talk to charlie kirk about this. when she was being briefed by the obama administration, she was taught exactly what to say and hunter biden's name came up.
12:47 am
i want to talk about john brennan. the president tweets about yovanovich basically saying the reason he let her go. she had a bad report. so nal mall yeah went to hell in a hand basket and ukraine was endemic corruption. john brennan tweets about the president of the united states. your comments reflect the despicable nature of our character. and desperation to protect your corrupt and criminal acts. your efforts to intimidate will fail. may your downfall be swift, your penalty onerous and your legaci' condemned by all. >> he send out these unhinged tweets. it tells you what was the
12:48 am
motivation. brennan was involved in pushing president trump. you have the justice department conclude there is evidence, they haven't concluded who is responsible criminally. but there is evidence of criminal misconduct. criminal activity in the origins of the spying on president trump. who was involved in that? obviously brennan, comey, the leadership of the obama administration. that's what they are nervous about. so what are they doing? they are trying to pretend president trump did something wrong. judge jeanine: i will go even higher than brennan. i will go right to the white house. >> obama knew, he was running the show. comey testified about that. he said before i met with trump about the dossier i was in the
12:49 am
oval office with the president and biden. judge jeanine: charlie kirk is next.
12:50 am
12:51 am
12:52 am
judge jeanine: the mainstream media is at it again over the impeachment. joining us is charlie kirk. matthew dowd is the chief political analyst at abc. which is the network that deep sixed the story on jeffrey
12:53 am
epstein. matthew dowd tweets. elise h stefanik is an example j why just electing someone because they are a woman or a millennial doesn't necessarily get you the leaders you wanted. >> there would be revolt if they said that about alexandria ocasio-cortez. elise stefanik did a great job. i was at an event with her tonight. she has been so terrific defending the president on a factual, rational basis. if you want to get under the democrats' skin, all you have to do is bring up what they used to believe and cam pair it to present day. congresswoman stefanik has gone the under schiff's skin because
12:54 am
she has brought forth facts in a way to this hearing and kudos to her for standing with this president against the left wing mob. judge jeanine: for this guy to trash her, he apologized. but everybody went after him. if a republican did that no a democrat woman, forget it. i want to talk about marie yovanovich. i want to talk about how in the senate hearings she was prepared by the obama administration to be an ambassador in ukraine and they brought up, she didn't, the obama people brought up how she should handle it if some republican might bring up the issue of hunter biden making 50 -- now i'm hearing $83,000 a month. what does it tell you about the
12:55 am
obama administration and their knowledge of corruption in ukraine? >> it means they were aware of it. they briefed their ambassador nominations to help cover up for it or have an excuse for it. and they were perfectly okay with it. the same questions congresswoman stefanik was prepared to ask were the ones the obama administration prepared her to answer during her confirmation. how can you be the', the obama administration going back many years was involved if not covering up the corruption in ukraine. the same corruption president trump was rightly trying to root out. judge jeanine: kent, the other witness was concerned about
12:56 am
biden. when yovanovich was asked if obama gave it money, she said no, trump gave the money. >> not only did trump give the money, he allowed javelin to be bought. president trump has been harsher on russia than president obama ever was, despite the media's lies.
12:57 am
12:58 am
12:59 am
judge jeanine: catch me this monday on "the five" where i will be hooting it up with greg gutfeld and the gang. thanks for watching. i'm per rrp advocating for truth, justice and the american way. i will be going to washington week for my book but i don't
1:00 am
have time to tell you about it. "the greg gutfeld show" is next. [♪] >> this lawyer's star rose while ripping stormy daniels but fell after he was accused of trying to extort millions from nike in 2019. name? michael avenatti. greg: alex trebek with the win. they had such ambition, such dreams. the first hour for the most part will be entirely adam schiff. it's designed to
